Welcome to Ms. Klein's 6th grade Math website.
This is the beginning of your math career at McCracken Middle School and I want you to start with the thought, "Think Math." The purpose of this website is for our communication.
Five important ways in which we can communicate are:
- Stay informed as to what is happening in our class daily by checking this website. This will allow you to plan your schedule after school. Take the necessary time to do your work and show work completion for all your classes so that you feel well prepared.
- Check your assignments on this website and also by writing them in your assignment book daily. Too often computers may not work, but you will be responsible for your work everyday no matter what. Your assignment notebook is a wonderful tool for organization. Use it well!
- Use this website to contact me via e-mail at anytime. I check my e-mail often and will try to respond promptly.
- Call me at 1-847-676-8250. If I'm not there leave a message telling me your name, what period you have Math, what you need help with, and a phone number for me to call you back. I will call you back, never past 8:00p.m.
- Our new Math series Illinois Math Connects is all on the internet. Glencoe.com and your code will allow you access to all Math needs. Try some of my Useful Links for fun, challenges, and practice. You should never feel bored. There is plenty more to learn in the field of Math outside the classroom walls. Please learn to enjoy Math. I promise you won't regret it!
